The exhibition dedicated to technologies connected with transport and distribution of gas will feature the organisation of a conference section that will cover important and crucial themes for professionals.
A sector, that of gas, characterised by a series of significant developing situations and dynamics including:
- the high value of energy shares consumed in Italy coming from natural gas equalling 45% (data from 2009);
- the result of the June 2011 referendum in Italy that decreed a stop to the development of nuclear energy;
- the growth of the demand for new energy tied to the end of the recession;
- new targets of energy efficiency;
- the spreading of distributed generation and micro-generation.
All factors which, overall, highlight the importance of this source of energy for its various uses and the necessary "change in speed" for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the networks, possible only through the innovation of "technical" and "process" systems, integration and interaction, and technology in the distribution network infrastructures.
At CH4 stock will be taken as to projects for investing in multi-utilities aimed at renewal of the gas networks through the use of new technologies and will focus on problems concerning standards and regulations as well as technical and management matters in applying the ARG/Gas 155/08 Resolution, and on themes developing in the sector of district heating and other critical subjects concerning the sector.
