ACCADUEO RETURNS TO BARI ON 26 AND 27 NOVEMBER 2026, THE KEY EVENT FOR THE WATER SECTOR

More than 40 companies have already registered for the only international trade exhibition in Italy exclusively dedicated to the civil and industrial water supply chain, organised by BFWE BolognaFiere Water&Energy.

Accadueo returns to Bari on 26 and 27 November 2026 at the Nuova Fiera del Levante for the 19th edition of the event, a benchmark for Italy’s water sector and a meeting point for companies, utilities, institutions, technicians and the research community. Organised by BFWE BolognaFiere Water&Energy, Accadueo is the only international trade exhibition in Italy exclusively dedicated to the civil and industrial water supply chain, providing a specialised platform for discussion on the most strategic issues surrounding water resource management, technological innovation and sustainability.

Its return to the Apulian capital strengthens Bari’s role as a natural hub for Southern Italy and the Mediterranean basin, an area that is increasingly central to addressing shared challenges such as water scarcity, network efficiency, wastewater treatment and the evolving regulatory framework. More than 40 companies have already registered for the 2026 edition. Over the two days, the exhibition halls will host conferences and in-depth sessions on key topics for the future of the sector, including wastewater management, emerging contaminants, trenchless technologies, digitalisation and AI for leakage reduction.

BFWE’s mission - says Paolo Angelini, Chief Executive Officer of BolognaFiere Water&Energy - is to promote knowledge-sharing around the economic and social value of water, energy and technological innovation. Only constructive dialogue grounded in science can effectively support the ecological transition. With this in mind, alternating between Bari and Bologna is designed to create synergy between territories and further connect the Italian water sector with the international arena.”

The event’s strategic direction will be guided by its Technical Scientific Committee, a high-level technical and strategic body made up of leading figures from academia, regulatory institutions and industry: Nicola Dalmonte, President of Cer-Canale Emiliano Romagnolo and ANBI; Marco Fantozzi, Managing Director of Isle Italy; Andrea Guerrini, Associate Professor at the Department of Management, University of Verona; Angiolo Martinelli, Director of the Sustainable Use of Water Resources Division at the Italian Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security (MASE); Marco Ottolenghi, Head of the Environment Unit, Sustainable Development Area, ART-ER; Simona Ramberti, Central Directorate for Environmental and Territorial Statistics, ISTAT; Stefano Tersigni, Central Directorate for Thematic Studies and Enhancement, ISTAT; Paolo Trombetti, President of IATT; Roberto Zocchi, Secretary General of the Italian Hydrotechnical Association.
