For over 30 years, Accadueo has been the first and only international trade fair of reference in Italy, dedicated exclusively to the civil and industrial water sector, serving as a key platform for dialogue between institutions, associations, and businesses - fundamental to the systemic development of the industry.
Following the success of the 17th edition in Bari (27–28 November 2024), which explored new opportunities in Central-Southern Italy and the Mediterranean Basin, Accadueo returns to its historic venue in Bologna from 7 to 9 October 2025, reaffirming its position as the primary meeting point for companies, institutions, and both national and international stakeholders.
Innovation and sustainability in the water cycle will define the exhibition area, which will span two large pavilions, where companies will showcase their cutting-edge products and present their most advanced solutions.
Alongside the exhibition area, a high-level conference program will provide industry professionals with the opportunity to stay updated and informed on the latest technologies for water treatment and reuse and the digitalization and integration of AI, IoT, and Big Data for more effective monitoring and loss reduction. For the first time, special attention will be given to the theme of the blue economy, highlighting innovations that enable the sustainable use of water resources.
The event will continue to alternate between Bari and Bologna, expanding its geographical scope and fostering dialogue among key industry stakeholders. This strategic rotation aims to create synergies between regions, with the objective of connecting the Italian water sector to the international landscape.
Bologna will become a hub for discussion and exchange on major topics related to ecological transition.

In Italy only one out of ten of the over 2,000 projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) related to water has been completed. For the 2021–2027 cycle, only 5 out of 542 (1%) are finished. These figures, compiled by the Centro Studi Enti Locali, will be presented at Accadueo, the international water service trade fair, taking place from October 7–9 at BolognaFiere.
