Thursday, 9 October 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Sala Goccia (Pavilion 25) of BolognaFiere, the conference “Designing Trenchless with the Support of Standards and Reference Practices” will take place, promoted by IATT – Italian Association for Trenchless Technology.
Conference Theme
The conference will focus on trenchless technologies, also known as “no-dig” techniques, which allow the construction, repair, or replacement of underground infrastructures without open-cut excavation. This innovative approach reduces environmental impact, minimizes traffic disruptions, and ensures greater safety and sustainability in underground works.
During the session, the following topics will be covered:
- The role of technical standards as a guarantee of quality, safety, and interoperability among operators and clients.
- The evolution of regional and national price lists, with a focus on items related to trenchless technologies.
- The challenges and opportunities for designers, tasked with correctly adopting and applying standards and economic tools in specifications and bills of quantities.
A strategic discussion opportunity for all professionals in the water and infrastructure sectors.
